Meet Duncan
Duncan qualified as a tree surgeon after taking ownership of a 10 acre woodland in Oakworth, West Yorkshire called Branshaw Plantation. Following his passion for nature, Duncan has spent years researching and practising woodland management, to ensure that nature can flourish for future generations. Duncan also holds various first aid, tree climbing and safe chainsaw use qualifications to deliver the safest possible service. After a decade working as an IT consultant, Duncan knows the importance of a professional service, and really takes the time to listen to his customers’ needs.
Forestry Commission woodland ambassadors
Duncan and Emma Davids have become Woodland Ambassadors. for the Forestry Commission.
The Forestry Commission said: “They set up Woodsworth Exploring, a woodland campsite, and also help other landowners manage woodlands through their tree services, management and ecology company, Woodsworth Managing. They are passionate about finding ways for people to enjoy woodland with minimal impact.”
